New England Hotel "Newie"

Hotel, Armidale, NSW, Australia

The New England Hotel, known locally as "The Newie" was established in 1857. Famous for where Peter Allen practised piano in his early years, 2013 will see the pub relaunched in separate stages.

It's an exciting time for Armidale. The New England Hotel has had a very successful past and in recent times has struggled to win the affection of the township.

2013 has seen the newly renovated Brasserie launch. We will soon see a fresh new Public Bar and Level One (function and entertainment venue).

A new and exciting addition to the towns line up of eateries the Newie offers a refreshing line up of tap and specialty beers, mature wine list and sophisticated cocktails, bringing a level of professionalism, personality and quality to Armidale.

Price sensitive to the needs of the community the venue has introduced a selection of food and beverage for everyone.

Our aim is to be heavily supportive to the community, local suppliers and retailers to include fresh produce and products from our surrounding region. Supporting the local community, charity events and developing a strong ongoing relationship with the university and colleges.

It's time to bring back some excitement to the town!
